When I was first married, I gained the "newlywed 15" (if that is even such a thing) because I was eating as much as my husband was. We loved going out to eat and I would down my whole meal. As I have grown older, and had kids, I really started understanding what I should and shouldn't eat.
Every now and again I like to go out to eat, but I now I try to order something a little more healthy. Fast food and Restaurants have very large portions that are loaded with calories. So before you head out for a quick meal, look up the nutrition. You might be surprised how many calories are in a meal.
